The Photographers in Times Square

Yesterday, the class arrived on 33rd street. We walked to the Public Library and went inside. On our way to the Library, we saw many techniques that caught our eyes. We walked past the Empire State Building and we were able to have a good angle for our techniques. After we decided to go into the Library and take photos, we met outside and we split up. At that time, my group walked to eat Chipotle and then we walked around and took more photos. We went to the Red Stairs in the middle of Times Square and we were able to find many 'Decisive Moments' photos. The kinds of photos I took yesterday were more Compositional Ideas than Street Photography. I took many photos of texture and leading lines than photos of decisive moments, but I did take some. Yesterday, I felt like there were more ideas and scenes to take photos of. Overall, it was definitely my favorite day.
The first photo that I decided to choose was in the Library. I took a picture of the "Who's Who in America" books. I got on an angle and I tried making it so that the DOF low so that you could only read the first book. I feel like the photo came out nicely and I really like it. It was also an example of repetition. The second photo I decided to choose was of the Empire State Building. The angle I took the photo at makes it seem like it’s not a building. It almost looks like it is kind of a road. It looks surreal. This photo has an example of Street Photography, which is surrealism. It also has the Compositional Ideas of leading lines, repetition, and simplify the background. Overall, it was one of my better photos.

After reviewing my photos, I believed that I did a nice job. There weren't that many photos that were out of focus. I feel like imp improving. Overall, It has been my favorite trip this year. I had fun at times and I was also working hard at times. It was definitely the best location that we have visited and there were many things that fit in well with our assignments. I do not care much on what we do on our last trip.
