Street Photography in NYC

Street photography is waiting for the right moment to take a photo.  In street photography there are five main techniques.  There is decisive moment, juxtaposition, surrealism, symbols, and image interaction. All of these topics take time and patience so you can take a photo at the right time and place.
In my photo I used a technique for street photography. My photo   had the technique of a decisive moment.  This is because the girl was looking straight at my camera and a second later she probably wouldn't have.  When we were at the park that day I was looking for someone that was sitting down so I could take a photo of them.  Then there she was just sitting there. So I waited until she looked at the camera directly and BANG! I took the camera shot.
When I was doing street photography I felt nervous that someone would say something to me if I took a photo of them.  But not one person said anything to me.  That trip was really fun because when your really nervous
it makes the day really fun.  I personally really liked street photography because the feeling of being nervous is really fun to handle.  That day Joe, Tom, Rohan, Alfahtee, and I went to Chipotle for lunch, went to Best Buy, and played chess against people in Union Square.
