Empire State of Mind: Pt. 1

I have learned a lot in this year’s photography class. The first thing i learned in this class is how to focus your camera in order to get a clear picture. I also learned the differences between pictures taken by regular people and trained photographers. I also learned basics to photography including Rule of Thirds, Framing, Exposure & Depth of Field. Because of all this, i fully understand how to take a “good” photo.
So knowing these different techniques helped me tremendously while taking pictures in NYC. There was multiple times where I took pictures of the same subject and changed the ISO to make sure i had the correct exposure in regards to the light. I also used several photography ideas like Fragments when i took pictures of statues and other forms of art work. Patterns because I love repetition photos. And finally Texture to make the viewer want to physically touch my photo.
In my three photos,  I show at least one of the ideas I stated above. The one i used the most pictures that contain some kind of pattern involved in it. I also wanted to fill the frame with my pictures so i always zoomed in as much as i could to get an almost unrealistic photo. Due to me zooming to the maximum, it led to all my photos to fragment photos which help my photos tremendously.
