Around the Big Apple

I've grasped an enormous amount of information in a short time. My perspective on how to attain the perfect image has transitioned. I've learned during class time about the rule of thirds ,and simplifying the background. These two factors have really helped my photography skills progress to a higher standard. I've always recognized these characteristics in professional photography , but did not realize how to achieve these factors in my personal photography.  I believe by simplifying the background it totally focuses the viewer's eye on the photographer's point of interest, and allows for everyone's own perception to make the photograph their own. Simplifying the background is the most difficult task to undertake while shooting a photo because ,the world is full of a spectrum of colors and various shapes, that it takes a painstaking effort to search for a perfect backdrop. All of these facts and points on information I've learned in only a week and a half of my photography course.

The lessons I've learned from  class that I have put forward into my photography technique is unusual point of view that will try and capture a state of bewilderment. I constantly attempt to simplify the background and focus on a point of interest. Also I've begun to look at the world through the frame and composition of my Canon camera's lens. Looking through the fame helps me correctly frame the light and help me accomplish my photographic goals.

As I reviewed my photos from the trip to the big apple, I noticed that all my photos had a constant theme. They all incorporated the themes of repetition and balance. Photos can really define your personality and inner thoughts. I'm very attracted to these themes because balance is an aspect I try to aspire in my life. I despise chaos and mayhem, so when I can achieve balance and serenity it brings peace, hopefully to the viewer's eye as well. Also I'm attracted to repetition because I feel like repeating cycles are closely related to my personal life. Themes bring out my/your deep thoughts that are incapsulated in the back of your head without even your recognition.
You are photography and photography is you.
