This course so far has helped me become more comfortable with my camera. I've become more familiar with the settings and tools my camera contains. I am also learning how to analyze images and see what photography ideas they contain. Another thing I am learning is the history of photography, mostly because of the book we are reading: 'Photography' by Steve Edwards.
Yesterday when we were in New York I used a lot of the photography ideas in my work. For example I took pictures with leading lines. I also adjusted my camera settings according to my setting. This class helps me be prepared. It prepares me put the lessons I learned into real life.
During my trip to New York my camera's white balance changed so the majority of my pictures were blue. For the few pictures that came out decent they had a lot of photography ideas. I choose some of my pictures because they were abstract and different. A lot of my pictures were also fragments making them more interesting.
