On the Streets Within Union Square

Candid is what street photography mainly consist of. Whether it be the candid pictures of the streets or of the nearby pedestrians. Street photography has five different branches. Decisive moment which involves you taking the picture at the exact time when your subject makes a decision to do something. Juxtaposition is the irony of the picture when it contradicts, for example old vs. new light vs. dark. Surrealism is captivatingly odd. Image interaction, it is funny and clever. When doing symbol street photography think arrows, symbols, signs.

My good example of street photography was good because it was juxtaposition. The sign said The Normal Heart but passing by was a lady. I caught the women with motion blur and it was also raining. Therefor, it gave a gloomy impression on the picture.

When I was doing street photography I felt out of place. Street photography isn't really my strong suit. Throughout the whole trip I felt like I had not taken any really captivating pictures. I really hate taking street photos with a passion. I'd rather take pictures of textures and patterns.
