Lower Manhattan Exposed

I have learned many things in the project Framing the Light.  I have learned how to take a nice photograph instead of just snap shots. For example we've learned many ways to compose a nice photograph, settings you can change to have a better picture, and different photographic ideas. Also we've learned as a class how to use light to your advantage to make your photograph more effective. You have to take all these factors into consideration to have an amazing picture.

On our trip to New York I tried to keep the notes on Composition in Photography in mind. I tried to put some of into action in my photos. I also tried a variety of different ideas. I had tried landscape, nature study, portrait etc. Personally I liked texture the best. Some of my best photos consist of texture.

In my perspective my three best photos were so good as a result of angle and view. Also because of the exposure of the light in the picture. One of my best photos was a result of the leading line that sucks you into the picture. My portrait was compositionally good. I followed rule of thirds and simplify the background because the background wasn't too distracting. The last of my favorite pictures is mainly texture the wall is in focus and you can see the bumps and grooves of the wall but in the background you can see fellow classmate ,Omari, leaning on the wall.
