During this course I am finally learning how to properly use a camera. Before I started this course, I only knew how to take pictures, without knowing that I could make a good and smart changes to them. So far we have learned about photography, different compositions and how to properly compose a photo. Also we have learned about three factors that affect exposure which is shutter speed, aperture and ISO. We are also reading a book called photography by Steve Edwards.
Yesterday during our trip to New York I took 61 photos. Out of those photos I chose three photos that deserve to be displayed in a possible exhibit. One of the photos I chose was a tree that was some- what dark but beyond it was a gloomy sky setting the mood to be sad. Another photo I chose was a seagull posted up on a piece of wood but the thing that stood out was the simple background. Finally I chose a photo of boats making a curved line but also a leading line at the same time.
Very nice pictures! My favorite of the three is the seagull and how it stands alone under the sun. Keep up the good work:)
ReplyDeleteAll of the pictures are great. My favorite picture is the one with the branches, it reminds me of a horror film. If those were the feelings you wanted evoke...nice job!!
