the newyorker

Yesterday while in  New York, we ventured from  36th St to the massive Empire State Building all the way to the red stairs, making a few pit stops at the New York Public Library, and Times Square. The types ofphotos I tried to capture were landscapes and street photography. A lot of time, I was looking up so most of the photos I took were flags, statues, building and signs.

The photo of the flags and the walk sign I took was something that caught my eye because they all shared a color:  white, red or blue. The picture of the light was a chandelier inside the library. The way I captured the photo was by positioning myself under and changing my aperture to its smallest opening.

I felt like I accomplished more this time in NewYork than last. I took better photos in my own opinion because it was my second time doing it and I was more experienced . The trip was fun because I knew where I was and I felt like I knew what to take a photo of. I hope on Wednesday able to take a lot more of abstract photos.
