Midtown Manhattan Madness

Yesterday May 19 the photography class and I went to Midtown Manhattan. We say the beautiful Times Square and the New York City Public Library. Yesterday i took a variety of pictures but mostly fragments, portraits, landscape, and portraits. Honestly there really isn't a lot of nature study. I experienced a lot of different things while there. I viewed the different culture in Midtown.

Yesterday I tried a decisive moment that actually worked. I took a picture of a women on the side walk that posed. The candid part of that was I caught people looking at her buttox. My second best picture was a fragment of a table but framed was an x that looked good.

Today as I was looking at yesterday's photos I felt good.  I feel as if I had done a good job accomplishing our goal. The trip was fun. I liked the fact that we were given an extreme amount of freedom. On our final trip tomorrow I hope to use the skills that we've been taught throughout the whole project.

  1. The last picture of the sticky notes is very eye catching. I thought it was well taken because it's the collage of all the colors shown that is appealing, yet not very detailed which I found interesting.
