Final Days Rogelio Hernandez

During my last days in this photography class I have finally grasped the idea of what it takes to be a good photographer. At the beginning it was a challenge because your not as experienced and you don't know how to capture a photo without the proper amount of exposure. Throughout time you finally start getting ideas and you start seeing what type of photographer your going to be by looking at your photos. You might think taking photos are easy, at times it is easy but its hard because there is always something that you know that you can perfect. For anybody that wants to peruse trying something new, photography is an amazing experience for anybody.

During my exhibit I captured many different aspects of life. I took photos of still life, nature study, leading lines and many other things. Its interesting to capture different aspects of life because there is just so much out there for you to learn about and discover. I tend to find interest in nature and still life not only because its the easiest subjects to take photos of but because they are the best things to take pictures of. There are many interesting things you can take photos of, you just have to put in the time to discover something thats worth capturing.

Three of the photos I choose for this blog entry, all made it in the final exhibit. The first one is a picture of a seagull with a simplified background. Another photo I captured was a picture a group of flowers joined together with another simplified background. Last but not least, I took another photo in a library of a row full of books with a leading line. The point of these photos were to try and get the viewer to understand the point of view I tried to capture.
